Forever Green Farm is located at the beautiful Valley View Farm, proudly owned for over 50 years by George and Leslie Governo.  In their five decades of excellence, they produced multiple year-end champions and exceptional horses and riders. In early 2024, Valley View Farm entered a new, exciting era with Forever Green Farm and trainer Keedle Ritter Konopka.

Keedle has spent over 45 years riding and showing, and has competed in hunters, jumpers, equitation, dressage, eventing, and polo. She began her journey when she moved to Kentucky in 1977 and rode with Susan Harris and the Covered Bridge Pony Club. She soon moved to Florida and was fortunate enough to ride with illustrious equestrians such as Don Stewart, Jill Townsend, George Morris, Simon Barber, James Armstrong, Gunar Ostergaard, Pat Dempsey, as well as multiple international clinicians.

 

She moved to Kentucky in 1985 and moved to Valley View Farm. She spent 12 years training with George and Leslie Governo. After college, she took a short hiatus from showing and worked in the racing and breeding industry, and even played polo for a few years with the Louisville Polo Club. She started her professional career in 1999 and found her true passion: teaching. Keedle continues to develop multiple Kentucky Hunter Jumper Association year-end award winners for everything from poles, upper-level hunters, equitation, and jumpers. 

 

She is dedicated to developing the next generation of elite equestrians, and loves teaching folks of all ages and skill levels in the English saddle!
